And here we have a visual indicator of how few fucks the senior class gives on our last day.
Note the skid marks near my rear tires. This parking job was accomplished by a handbrake skid at about 30mph when the lot was empty.
Girlfriend in passenger seat.
Top Gear lied to me; her clothes stayed on :(

What the hell is this asshat doing? How dare he/she park in the lines.

I tried to do this in an E36 once (sorry GF's dad for hooning your car) I yanked that brake all the way up and it did absolutely nothing. I was so annoyed.

The Metro was "parking" as I pulled in. He did a burnout and I jumped out of my car screaming "GEO BURNOUT ROCK OOON!" and it was a pretty good way to start my morning.

I was walking down the halls later (school of 2000 students, my class is 400-ish) and I hear "yeah some dude in a blacked-out Buick got totally blocked in. He's not going anywhere."
...they weren't wrong...

Hilarious! My last day of senior year, a buddy of mine was driving his mom's Crown Vic and had parked horizontally across three parking spots. I pulled my dad's Suburban in front of his car to block even more spots just for the hell of it. Lulz were had.

Mine is a pedal, and it sucks arse because it's on a ratchet so I have to do a hilarious foot-dance to disengage it by pressing it a second time. Good for sliding to a stop, not good for controlled handbrake slides.

I always though all of GMs pedal ones had a lever you pulled to dis-engage them. Must just be the trucks.
Now my mom's Vue, if you pull that lever, it locks up the wheels and can pull lovely ice drifts (don't ask me how I know)

I don't know and frankly I don't care, that's what it felt like.

Until I see video I don't believe you (please take video). I want to find some sort of maintenance manual for my LeSabre that will show me how to get the damn ratchet assembly or the entire parking brake pedal assembly out of the car so I can dremel away all of the ratchet teeth and make it an insta-slide button

I'll take video next time I have an empty lot and it's raining (hooray completely defeat-able traction and stability control) . And after she gets a new front passenger side tire; any more hooning and that thing is going to burst.

I just discovered today that my Body Control Module has a funny feature: It will occasionally turn me off and leave me without ABS or Traction Control (which is impossible to turn all the way off, combined with the lack of an LSD = no burnouts 4 me)

Kansas plates? Another Wichita oppo?

The BCM in the Vue will shut the car off completely sometimes. It's a common problem apparently?
That's sad, because that 3800 could probably do some killer burnouts. That's another thing the Saturn will do, and do very well. I really need to start recording my hooning sessions in it.

Our last day of school (specifically, the end of the day) reminds me of the start of the Gumball Rally/Cannonball Run. A line of cars revving and honking, waiting to floor it and screech their tires as much as possible as they pull out onto the main street one by one.

I have the same issue with my car.

I did this on the last day of school, except it was the last 3 spaces and I knew my friend was running late.

Awesome!! What class. It would be neat to see you run in CAM, but I think you have to be rear drive.

I was in HS. Yes, I was beat by a Cavalier. But it was a V6 Cavalier with suspension mods and a few hundred pounds less weight.
